SERS STUDY OF CORROSION INHIBITION OF BTAH AND ITSDE RIVATIVE ON COPPER ELECTRODE IN SULPHURIC ACID SOLUTION |

Abstract Corrosion inhibition of BTAH and its derivative 4CB TAH on Cu in 0.5 mol/L H\-2SO\-4 solution was studied by SERS technique.The inhi bition mechanism for these inhibitors was found to be nearly the same which form ed a protective film through the triazole ring.As the potential turned negative, the molecules of BTAH or 4CBTAH gradually adsorbs on the copper surface.
