Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection is a well-known scholarly journal in the domain of corrosion and protection, and mainly reports domestic and international developments of corrosion in research and in industry, which are characterized by innovation, accurary and timeliness. It requires all authors to adhere to publishing ethics. All submitted papers confirmed as being unethical are unacceptable, and we have the right to withdraw the accepted and published papers of such kind.
 
Duties for Authors
 
I Plagiarism
Plagiarism is unethical. Authors must submit only their original papers. If the authors’ previously published work or the material of others is used, it must have clear and appropriate statement of the source. Plagiarism of ideas is also unacceptable.
II Multiple Paper Submissions
Multiple paper submission is also unethical. If authors want to submit paper to Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection, he/she should not submit this paper or any parts of it to other publication. We do not accept multi-submissing papers.
III Source Acknowledgement
Source acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should properly acknowledge and state other’s works that have influenced the content of the paper, which may include cited references, financial support from organizations or other research and technique document.
IV Author Listing
Authors listed in paper must have made contribution to the papers. The first author or the corresponding author must guarantee that all the co-authors agree to be listed in paper, and agree the content of the paper.

Duties for Editors
 
I Publication Decisions
Based on the report of the peer-review, the editor can reject or request modifications to the manuscript.
II Review of Manuscripts
Each editor must ensure that each paper is initially evaluated for originality, and the AMLC and other softwares are used to do this.
III Fair Review
The editor must ensure that each paper received by Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection is reviewed for its intellectual content without regard to sex, gender, race, religion, citizenship, etc. of the authors.
IV Confidentiality
The editor must ensure that information regarding papers submitted by the authors is kept confidential.
V Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
The editor of Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection will not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for his/her own research without written consent of the author.
 
Duties for Reviews
 
I Confidentiality
Information regarding papers submitted by authors should be kept confidential and be treated as privileged information.
II Acknowledgement of Sources
Peer-reviewers must ensure that authors have acknowledged all sources of data used in the research. Any kind of similarity or overlap between the manuscripts under consideration or with any other published paper of which reviewer has personal knowledge must be immediately brought to the editor's notice.
III Standards of Objectivity
Review of submitted papers must be done objectively and the reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
IV Promptness
In the event that a reviewer feels it is not possible for him/her to complete review of paper within stipulated time, this information must be communicated to the editor, so that the paper could be sent to another reviewer.
