Abstract  A mathematical analysis for theoretical errors of three types of linear polarization resistance techniques used in Practice was made.It is shown that the theoretical error of bi-directional linear polarization resistance is the least one in those of linear polarization techniques studied, though it is still more than 5%.A method to reduce it to less than 5% is proposed.
