Abstract The corrosion currents of the oxygen concentration cell for more than hundred types of low alloy steel have been measured in sea water by simulated test of oxygen concentration cell. By these measured values in comparison with carbon steel the localized corrosion resistance of low alloy can be divided into three classes, better, good and bad, The relationship between the corrosion current of oxygen concentration cell and the content of the elements in low alloy has been discussed,
