Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection is a special journal focusing on corrosion and protection, started in 1981, authorized by Chinese Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection and Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The current editor-in-chief is Professor ZUO Liang and GONG ShengKai, a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians.
Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection mainly publishes original research papers and also review papers in the field of corrosion and protection. It is a core journal in China with a long history and high academic impact. The scope of this journal covering a broad spectrum of corrosion and protection, encompassing: corrosion electrochemistry; high temperature oxidation, passivity, anodic oxidation, biochemical corrosion, inhibitor, stress corrosion cracking, environment corrosion, mechanisms and methods of corrosion control.
Since the establishment of the journal, Journal of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection has firmly followed the correct publication guidance, implemented thoroughly all the policies and rules from the party and the government, served to the economy and the modernization of science and technology, and contributed significantly to the advancement of corrosion and protection industry in China.
